How It Works


Preparation
1. Check Equipment: Ensure that the printer, ink systems (including CMYK and white inks), powder shaker, oven, and other necessary accessories are correctly installed and connected.
2. Environment Setup: Make sure your operating environment meets the required temperature and humidity levels (typically 25°C and 65% RH).

Design Preparation
1. Design Creation: Use RIP software (such as RIIN, Maintop, Photoprint, etc.) to create or import your design.
2. Color Management: Adjust color profiles as needed to ensure optimal output quality.

Printing Process
1. Material Preparation: Prepare the garment you wish to print on and place it on the printing table. If using PET transfer film, secure the film properly.
2. Head Maintenance: Before printing, perform a head cleaning to prevent clogging and ensure print quality.
3. Load Design: Load your design file into the RIP software and select the appropriate print settings.
4. Start Printing: Send the job to the DTF printer and start the printing process.

Transfer Process
1. Powder Application: After printing, evenly apply hot melt powder over the image and use the shaking device to remove excess powder.
2. Curing: Use an oven to heat the image, allowing the powder to melt and bind with the ink.
3. Transfer: Align the processed PET film onto the garment and use a heat press to apply pressure and heat, transferring the image onto the garment.

Post-processing
1. Cool Down: Allow the newly printed garment to cool down naturally.
2. Quality Check: Inspect the print result for satisfaction. Repeat certain steps if necessary.

Maintenance
- Regularly carry out head cleaning and maintenance procedures according to the manufacturer’s guidelines to keep the machine in good working condition.
